Morganville Vampires Book 10 Bite Club

Rachael Caine

Character Development- In this book we finally get to hear from someone other than Claire, we hear from Shane. The reader gets to hear his thoughts and it helps us to get to know more about Shane. And the anger that he feels toward the vampires. Claire, Eve and Michael are surprised to see how much anger Shane has in him. A new vampire comes to town that right off you find yourself wanting to smack her. 5 STARS Plot/Subplot- The plot of Bite Club was fresh and new. Seeing more of Shane’s inner issues, and the way he is easily manipulated by the new vampire is a welcome change. A fight club run by vampires that allows a human into fight is definitely interesting. 5 STARS Concept- The Morganville series is a little long so adding new aspects is the only way to keep the series fresh and worth reading. I was getting ga little tired of the same thing and more than once thought about giving up on this series, but I stuck it out. 5 STARS Cover Design- The cover has who I think is Claire and Shane. There is an eerie feel to the cover. I like this one best of them all. 5 STARS Entertainment Level- I was entertained. It wasn’t a stay up all night read. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. 3 STARS Overall- 4 1/2 STARS
