Cover Design- Colorful and fun enough to catch the eye. 4 STARS Concept- Carrie Pulkinen took a popular Christmas song and put a unique fun spin on it. The truth about Santa and Mrs. Claus is told in a way to delight the kid in all of us for a second. Then she got a little racy. Having Santa give the Christmas Carol new lyrics was cute. Santa got run over by a Vampire, peeing in the park on Christmas week. You may think there’s no such thing as vampires, but as for me and Blitzen, we believe. I’ll let you find out why Santa only named Blitzen when you read it. When Jane, the main character, got tired of hearing that she asked if he could sing something else, so he sang- On the first day of Christmas, a vampire ran over me, while I was peeing on a tree. A fun concept. 5 STARS Plot/Subplot- Obviously, the plot isn’t Santa getting run over a vampire, that’s just the subplot. The plot goes on what the other books in the series are about, introducing her vampire husband to her human father and telling him she’s a vampire. 4 STARS Character Development- As I said this is book four in the series so most of the character shave been met in the previous books. That being said she does a good job telling the reader about the characters. 5 STARS Entertainment Level- I loved this book. I laughed so much while reading it. I will be checking out the other books in the series. 5 STARS Overall- I give it 4 ½ STARS. You should read this book!
